The Automated Microarray Pipeline is a series of programs that
allow the automated normalization and web publication of microarray
data. Data stored in a MADAM-compliant database, like that provided
with MADAM, can be automatically downloaded,
normalized and uploaded into another web-optimized database. The
web application portion of the pipeline can then be used to access
this processed data through a standard web browser.
AMP consists of three parts: the AMP scripts, which control file manipulation and data upload; AMP Processor, which normalizes the data using the methods specified by the scripts; and AMP Publisher, which creates web pages and displays the data in a browser-compatible format.
